There's no "official" client for the web either. And still, I don't see why this would be an issue since I've tried 3 different clients (amfora, kristall, deedum) and they were all quite serviceable.
As for inline links, I mostly agree. I like and use inline links pretty heavily and feel like it would be against my habits/nature to unlearn that and switch to separate lines. I don't mind reading gemini content that uses this already but it doesn't come naturally to me when I am writing myself. Inline linking is also just more efficient.
As for the third point, I don't see why something like Gemini can't exist if the regulation was also in place.
